1. Collected personal information and procedures

A. Collected items

(1) Company collects the following information to provide smooth customer service among various services:

  • Customer service: name, contact information, email address
  • Information including visit history, application history, abuse history, and device information (OS, screen size, device UID) may be collected automatically when using a service.

B. Collection procedures

(1) Company collects personal information from the users’ input. In some cases, Company may collect some information via printed paper or electronic forms.

3. Entrustment of personal information

A. For smoother operation in providing better services for customers’ convenience, Company entrusts the personal information to the external professionals as below. The relevant entities retain the user's personal information for the duration of the contract. However, if the relevant regulations indicate a retention period, the entities shall retain the user's personal information for the specified period.

B. Company defines and manages the consigned entities to comply with: regulations related to personal information protection, confidentiality of personal information, prohibition of provision to third parties, liability in the event of an accident, consignment period, and obligation to return or destroy personal information after completion of processing.

4. Personal information items to be collected, how to collect them

In principle, users' personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collecting and using personal information is achieved. However, the following information will be preserved for the specified period for the reasons below:

A. The provided personal information shall be retained and processed for 3 years in accordance with relevant laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea. However, if you withdraw consent to the processing of personal information or request withdrawal, the personal information you provided will be destroyed without delay unless there are special reasons.

B. Retention in accordance with the company policy

C. In case it is necessary to retain in accordance with the provisions of related laws such as the Private Commercial Act and the Electronic Commerce Act, Company retains user information for the time specified in the relevant laws. In this case, Company uses the stored information only for storage, and the retention period is as follows.

(1) Records about indication/advertisement: 6 months (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

(2) Records about agreements or withdrawal of subscription: 5 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

(3) Records about consumer complaints or disputes: 3 years (Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc.)

(4) Records about personal authentication: 6 months (Network Act)

(5) Log records (communications evidence): 3 months (Protection of Communications Secrets Act)

5. Destruction procedures of personal information

A. Destruction procedures

(1) The information you provide to use our services is transferred to a separate database once its purpose is achieved (a separate document box in case of paper) and is retained for the time indicated according to the internal policy and other relevant laws (refer to the period of retention and usage) before it is destroyed.

(2) Unless indicated in the law, the personal information that has been transferred to a separate database is not used for any other purpose than that of retention.

B. Destruction methods

(1) The information saved digitally is deleted with technology that disables its restoration.

(2) The information printed on paper is either shredded or incinerated.

6. Installment/operation of automatic collection and refusal

Company operates cookies (access information files) that frequently store and retrieve user information. Cookies are stored on the user's computer hard disk as a text file by the server used to operate the company's website. Company uses cookies for the following purposes:

C. A disposition taken by the head of a public institution in response to a request under the provisions of Article 35 (Access to personal information), Article 36 (Rectification or Erasure of Personal Information), and Article 37 (Suspension of Processing of Personal Information) of the Personal Information Protection Act; or a person whose rights or interests have been infringed due to omission may request an administrative trial following the provisions of the Administrative Appeals Act.

8. Others

If you go to another site or web page by clicking a link or banner on a web page operated by Company, the privacy policy posted by the site's operating organization will be applied. So please check the privacy policy of the relevant site.

9. Obligation to notify

A. In case of revisions such as additions, deletions, or amendments to this personal information processing policy in accordance with government or company policy, a notice will be posted on the home page at least 7 days in advance. However, if the terms and conditions are changed to the disadvantage of the user, a grace period of at least 30 days will be provided and the user will be notified of the contents before and after the revision so that the user can easily understand the changes.
